Son: Dad, I am very hungry. Where is my breakfast?
Dad: Uumm, I am confused, not understanding what to do?
Son: What are you saying Dad?
Dad:  Everything turns very difficult when your mom is not around.
Son: But I am very hungry dad, do something.
Dad: Yeah, let me think.
Son: Oh, you don’t need to think because it’s Tuesday.
Dad: Yeah, I know its Tuesday but what’s so special about it?
Son: Every Tuesday Mom prepares special upma for me and I love upma.  I want to eat the same upma the way mom prepares.
Dad: Ok, that’s good but I never prepared upma in my entire life. In fact, I don’t even know how to prepare that. Instead, I have some better options, why don’t we have some bread and butter, it’s so yummy.
Son: No, I just want upma and nothing else.
Dad: Ok, do you know how does she prepare it? If you can help, I can try.
Son: Ok, let me think and try to recollect what exactly mom does.
Dad: Ok, that’s cool. I am sure you can help me, after all you are a smart kid.
Son: Yes, undoubtedly dad, I am a smart kid even mom says that.
Dad: Cool. So tell me.
Son: Ok, so here it goes this way. First, take one packet of instant upma mix.
Dad: Do you mean I need to go out and buy that packet?
Son: No, you don’t need to do that. Mom stores many such packets in that top right side cabinet.
Dad: Ok, let me check. Hhmm..where is it? I can’t see any packets here, there are all bottles.
Son: Oh, maybe you should check in the second drawer. Yes, I am sure, mom keeps it there.

Dad: Yes, I got it.
Son: Cool. Now take a pan from the left hand side storage organizer.
Dad: Oh, where is that? Hhmm, never mind I got it.
Son: Now light the gas and place the pan on it.
Dad: Ok this is quite simple.
Son: Now add little butter in the pan and add the entire upma mix into the pan and roast it with that wooden spatula for around maybe 2 minutes.
Dad: ok, I am doing it. I hope it doesn’t burn. What’s next?
Son: Don’t worry dad, it will not burn. Now add one glass of warm water into it and cover it with the lid.
Dad: For how much time?
Son: Maybe for 15 minutes or let me think.
Dad: It might burn if we cook it for 15 minutes.
Son: No, cook it only for 5 minutes and we are done.
Dad: Are you sure?
Son: Yes, I am.
Dad: Ok, let’s see. Hhmm I am actually getting the aroma. Let me check now.
Son: Be careful usually the lid remains very hot.
Dad: Oh, thanks. Ta da…its ready, it looks amazing. You taste it and tell me how is it?
Son: Hhmm it’s so delicious, it’s the same what mom prepares every time. Wow dad you are too good. Thank you so much for this yummy breakfast.
Dad: Thank you too son for teaching how to cook upma.
Son: I think, mom should go out more often so that you can get hands on the cooking.
Dad: No, not anymore. I better rush to the office. Bye bye.
Son: Bye dad(with smile).
