Poems about Loneliness

Alone in My Thoughts

In my room, I sit all alone,
With no one to talk to or call on the phone.
The silence is loud, and it fills up my head,
And the emptiness hurts, like a pain that’s unsaid.

I look out the window, and I see other kids play,
But they have friends, and they all seem to stray.
I wish I could join them and laugh in delight,
But loneliness holds me back, like an anchor too tight.

I try to read books or play games on my own,
But the loneliness persists, and I feel all alone.
I wish I had someone to share my thoughts and dreams,
Someone to be with me, or so it seems.

Sometimes, I wonder if anyone cares,
Or if anyone hears my silent prayers.
But I know deep inside, I am not alone,
For there are others out there, just like my own.

So, I will hold on to hope and believe,
That one day, I will find the friend I need.
Until then, I will cherish my solitude and thoughts,
And find peace in the silence that fills me with knots.

Solitude

In this quiet room, I sit alone
No sound but the ticking of the clock’s tone
The emptiness around me like a shroud
The stillness, so heavy, it weighs me down
