Justin: Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that. Could you please say your name again?

Justin: Good morning Mrs. Miller. This is Justin here. I am her son. Actually, we have telephone connectivity issues here.
Ms. Miller: Never mind. Can I speak to your mom please?
Justin: Certainly, Ms. Miller. Please hold the line. I will let her know.
Ms. Miller: Thanks.

(A minute later)

Justin: I’m sorry to keep you waiting Ms. Miller but I’m afraid she is not at home at the moment.
Ms. Miller: I couldn’t hear you very well. Could you please come again?
Justin: Mom is not at home right now. Probably she left few minutes back and I wasn’t aware about it.
Ms. Miller: Oh, I see. We were supposed to be going out shopping together.
Justin: Have you tried calling her on her cell phone?
Ms. Miller: I did try several times. But her cell phone was always engaged and later I feel her mobile battery drained out as its now switched off.

Justin: Hm, I see. I would suggest you call her again after 2 hours. She should be back by then.
Ms. Miller: That’s okay. Maybe she forgot that we had to go shopping today.
Justin: Or probably she must be remembering but as her phone conked off, she couldn’t call you back. Would you like to leave a message?
Ms. Miller: As soon as she is back, could you please ask her to call me? I will appreciate it. It’s urgent.
Justin: Of course, Ms. Miller, I will let her know that you called. Can I have you number? In case if she is unable to retrieve your number from her phone.
Ms. Miller: You are a very smart boy, indeed! As we don’t know the real reason behind her phone being switched off. It can be a handset issue too. It’s 23432432.
Justin: Very well then. I will convey your message on her immediate arrival.
Ms. Miller: It was nice talking to you Justin and thank you very much, you’ve been very helpful.
Justin: My pleasure.
Ms. Miller: I need to hang up now. Goodbye Justin.
